Scene Study with Jeremy Radin
Hello actors! Looking for a good scene study workshop without a massive time commitment? I've got you covered! Welcome to Scene Study with Jeremy Radin, an intensive focused on guiding actors through the rehearsal process.
The aim of this workshop is to take a group of up to fourteen students, working on two-person scenes, from initial read to performance readiness over the course of six weeks. Together we’ll investigate the rehearsal process: reading comprehension, tracking and understanding story, character development, staging, preparation, choice-making, and performance.
Utilizing the training I’ve received over thirteen years studying (and teaching) at The Beverly Hills Playhouse, two years of creating original monthly one-acts with New Guard and The Public Assembly theater companies, and countless hours in theaters and on sets, I’ll help to guide you toward greater self-sufficiency as an actor and artist.
My goal is to foster the growth of competent, self-sufficient, literate, willing, dynamic, generous, and enthusiastic actors in a safe space where discovery and creativity can thrive. Let’s have fun and sink back in to why we loved this art form in the first place.
